Gadgets are supposed to make life easier, but just how easier are the recent kitchen gadgets?

10. Rubik's cube salt and pepper shakers with twistable tops. The shakers are the same size as the orginal, as well as being able to twist the top just like you can with the real thing.

9. The plate that cooks your food. However brilliant this may sound it is really only capable of cooking an egg or two and that’s only if you like it fried! It is not the most attractive of tableware as it has a cable running down the back of it. Not for those who love their stylish Designer Kitchens.

8. The Catapulting toaster. Let the toaster put the toast on your plate for you. Although sounding brilliant there really isn’t a point as I’m sure crumpets and hot cross buns still get stuck and you still end up burning your fingers attempting to get them out

7. A hand crank juicer which saves on your energy bills even before you’re fully awake! It is a lot more annoying, especially in the mornings to turn a handle to get the juice you are after. Anyone who is eco-friendly will love this product.

6. Vegetable peeler Rotato express does all the hard work. Although made to save time, it can be tiresome trying to put to product in the right position.

5. Any Star Wars fan will love the Darth Vader toaster. Out of all the gadgets so far this seems like the one that I would enjoy the most. You can’t go wrong with a bit of Star Wars in the morning

4. The Knife block that stops contamination in the block. Can’t really see it being any better than if you were to do the washing up properly.

3. Better than buying loads of cooking books is the Digital recipe reader. Just pop all your recipe’s from the net straight onto the reader and you can cook top meals for hours on end without even having to open a cook book!

2. The flatshare fridge is a brilliant idea and what it is a fridge with several doors leading to a different section of the fridge. A good invention for people who are always disagreeing over who bought what. however there isn't much point when you already have seperate shelves on a normal fridge?

1. Toastabags are really the only item on this list worth having. They save time, effort and are damn easy to use. You don’t even need a toasted sandwich machine anymore. As well as no cleaning up to do afterwards it’s easy to see why Toastabags are number one.

However is someone that has an interest in Bespoke Kitchens really going to bother with any of these items? Is it really worth the money. Most of these gadgets are a complete waste of money.
